Grit
Grit is made out of two words, persistence and resilience. Persistence is when you keep on trying. Resilience is when you might get hurt but then you go again, like you try to do a wheelie but then you fall on your back, but then you keep on trying until you get it right. Once I used grit for biking, I tried to bike I tried every day and some times i used to fall of my bike. Then after two weeks I learnt how to bike. Also I used grit for my work, I used it for decimals adding and subtracting, it was really hard but I kept on trying, then it became easier.

save a mate
How did your group work together? (Did you cooperate, share the work, stay on task, persist when things got hard? Were you open-minded to each others’ ideas? How did you show empathy?)
I did not really stay on task I was sometimes drifting off
I really persisted on thinking of what to write about.
|
What were you pleased about in following the Te Ara Tika pathway to learn about first aid? (Think about each of the steps - what steps did you do well or made progress with?)
i made progress with answering my questions.
|
What skills in the Te Ara Tika pathway do you think you need to improve on and why?
key words and purchase because I am really bad at finding the keywords and purchase.
|
Now think about your google site. What are you really pleased about or had success with?
my question searching because when I write a question I don't get the answer .
|
What do you think needs to be improved on your google site?
my speed because I am very slow in typing
|
Do you think your first aid google site does a good job of “effectively communicating” first aid skills? Why or why not? (Would you be happy with people using it to “Save a Mate”?
yes because my google site has the right spelling and info.
|
What is one thing (skills, learning attitude) that each of you needs to improve on in our next W.I.T.? (Record each of your names with the thing to be improved)
curiosity and open mindedness.

My learning
My most favorite thing I like to do in school is reading. I like reading the most because it gives you a little movie in your brain, depends on how long your book that your reading is, it also sometimes takes my tension away and makes me wonder what will happened next.
My next favorite thing to do is writing.Because you can make your imagination run wild and when I am writing it feels like I saw the thing I wrought eg the chocolate explode or there was a bus destroying the city and the driver was a kitten.
In Te Ara Tika I have made progress with researching in questions, and have also learnt some history and new words like abrasions it is also is little hard searching some of my questions it is also some times.
